In the therapy of speech and language development delay, the child must receive comprehensive support. It should include the following areas:

  • Stimulation of tactile, visual and auditory perception,
  • Improvement of oral motor skills,
  • Sound initiation and consolidation,
  • Encouraging the joy of speaking and stimulating speech and
  • Improving attention and concentration.

All of this content should be embedded in a context that the child can understand. The child should experience and “grasp” the language through actions, e.g. in a guided game. In doing so, all senses are involved and learning is made easier.
